Current Status
Industry and AQIS training for the Onshore Quarantine Fumigation Scheme has now been completed in all states with training for new exployees to occur on an as needs basis. Other parties are in the process of signing onto the scheme and thier Accredited Person undergoing competency evaluation. As of November 15, 2002, 17 businesses have signed the compliance agreement for Scheme. Full implementation is expected in early 2003. |
